O.J. Simpson’s Estate Rejects Kim Kardashian’s $15K Offer for Late Dad’s Bible

Kim Kardashian tried to buy her late father Robert Kardashian Sr.’s inscribed Bible from O.J. Simpson’s estate, but her $15,000 offer was shut down.

The estate’s executor, Malcolm LaVergne, said the Bible was already set to be auctioned off, and her offer wasn’t worth breaking the contract.

“The amount is why I had no choice,” LaVergne explained. “Why would I spend $15,000 in attorney fees just to sell it for $15,000? That’s a bad business model. If Kim had offered $150,000, we’d be in court getting this approved.”

Instead, LaVergne suggested Kim try her luck at auction. Right now, the highest bid is $9,800, so she might even get it for less.

The Bible isn’t just any book. It has a handwritten note from Robert Sr. to O.J., dated June 18th, 1994, the day after O.J. was arrested for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

In the note, Robert Sr. wrote: “O.J., this book will help. God loves and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child and he will use you again. I love you and God loves you.”

With that kind of history, it’s no surprise Kim wanted it. But for now, the Bible is still up for grabs. It’s unclear if Kim has placed her bid yet.
